ABA Therapy Training for Parents & Caregivers
Caregiver skills training is a key part of our ABA service model. Through parent education and dedicated sessions with our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), you’ll learn practical strategies to support your child’s growth, reinforce positive behaviors, and address their unique needs. This collaborative approach empowers you to play an active role in your child’s progress and supports long-term success. Together, we will complete the following:
- Review your child’s progress,
- Check in regarding your child’s priorities and any further needs or concerns,
- Discuss strategies RISE Pediatric Therapies uses to help your child, and
- Formulate plans for you to work alongside the BCBAs to receive consistent results.
Caregiver Impact on Coordinated Care
Including caregivers in our services helps us achieve a whole child and coordinated care approach. We’ve found that when parents & caregivers are involved in all our services, including ABA, occupational therapy, and speech and language therapy, this involvement ensures carryover into the home, school, and community—and therapy progresses at a steady pace. When children experience the same direction in the clinic, at home, and in school, they thrive.
Educational Support Services
At RISE Pediatric Therapies we offer additional services to support your choice of education. For those choosing a home-based school, we partner with a virtual private academy. Parents and caregivers are highly involved in this program, as they are responsible for keeping records, a portfolio, and turning in specific paperwork to document their child's learning.
We also work closely with families that choose school-based services to review individualized education plans and provide information regarding your options. Our level of support is dependent upon the rules and regulations set by the school, your state, and your insurance company. No matter your choice of education, we’ll work with you to set up your child for success.
